Kennedy Potts Training Associates (KPTA)

Susan Kennedy & Dave Potts formed KPTA in 1998 due to a shared desire to utilise their separate and combined extensive experience of working with domestic abuse, particularly with male perpetrators, in order to provide co-gendered training and consultancy. While we have since broadened our areas of training, our main focus and area of expertise remains domestic abuse work.

KPTA's domestic abuse work
In our domestic violence work, KPTA's aim is to protect women and children by focusing on men through:

  • Providing a co-gendered andwomencentred approach

  • Promoting evidence based and effective practice

We are providing a 'critical friend' review of community safety strategy documents, drafting implementation plans and consulting on the general development of domestic abuse protection work and the specific establishment of perpetrator programmes.
